Caroline and Victor Wedding

What a lovely day! Most of you probably don’t know, but this bride is my sister-in-law. Their bridal party was so much fun, and I have to comment on what involved, supportive friends Victor and Caroline have! The groomsmen, especially, blew me away! These guys were making drinks and setting up, decorating and keeping everyone on schedule. They were enthusiastic about pictures which made the whole experience so much more fun and genuine. I made a comment to one of them about how I had never seen such helpful groomsmen- they were literally running the show! And he responded that they had been friends since middle school and they were all really excited because they all loved Victor and Caroline together. He said that the group knew they were perfect for each other.

I don’t personally know either Victor or Caroline very well but if their group of friends is any indication of how they are; they are kind, motivated, always looking to help others and do good, and like to have a good time.

Among other things I loved about this day Trent and I bonded with Victors mother and family. Trent speaks Spanish which is always an asset to us on wedding days and she was excited to hear that I speak French because Victor, my now brother-in-law, lived in Canada for a while and speaks French as well! We got an invitation to eat Ecuadorian Food that she offered to prepare for us some time, which we will definitely be taking her up on next time we fly in for anything! 😉

As always you can find applicable vendors at the end of the post but I do want to note here that Caroline owns an event supply rental business and the standing tables you see in the reception shots were made by her!

Here are a few of my favorite shots from the day:

Cheers to eternity Caroline and Victor. <3

Below is a little behind the scenes Trent took of me organizing the bridal party during group shots. A very important part of my method is to give clear, but gentle directions. It’s very important to me that everyone feel confident in the instructions I give but also feel like they’re not being barked at. My love language is Words of Affirmation so HOW things are said is an integral part of My Wedding Experience. (Have you ever taken the Love Languages Quiz? If you haven’t you should! Here’s the link. I highly recommend the book for newlyweds too!)
