I am so excited that this finally happened! I say that because this has been a long time in the making! We have been planning this for sometime and we couldn’t find a date any sooner that we were all free! It’s a little exciting for me to get more busy as my business grows but it makes it a little stressful when your use to just planning things whenever!
Matt is actually Trent’s first cousin so that adds the pressure on to really wow them since we’ll be seeing them around for the rest of our lives. Haha. Once they arrived I relaxed a bit though. They are the sweetest family and Blake is such a doll.
Early in the session I asked here to twirl her dress back and forth and she gave me a full on ballerina twirl with her arms out and everything like she had been waiting for me to ask for that the whole time! She even did a little bow at the end. It was pretty cute and had us all laughing.
We chatted about the crazy world situation and how it was interesting that so many people were at the trail head. I had never seen more than one horse trailer and myself at any given time. We guessed it was probably because people were tired of being at home and still wanted to get out and go somewhere even though the whole town seems to be shut down.
I am so excited with how these turned out. I really like how they wore solid light neutrals but then Matt’s dark shoes, belt and tie add the perfect pop of contrast to the creamy dreamy backdrops the muted desert colors provide. If I could describe this experience in two words they would be Classy Family.
BEHIND THE SCENES: Brighten and Trent came with me a little early to scout out some spots- Which I never used… as usual. Haha. But in my defense there is something about seeing everyone when they get there that just really solidifies the whole vision and gives me a picture of exactly what I am looking for. At least that’s what I tell myself.
Great shots! Lovely family!
