Alana and Wilbur- Wedding

There was no better way to end this wedding season than with Wilbur and Alana on Saturday. It was such a blast and the demeanor of the guests was as vibrant and happy as Alana’s smile.

The day started off quickly with a happy bridal party of obviously very enthusiastic friends and family getting ready together in the gorgeous Bride and Groom Prep areas at The Sycamore.

The breeze during the first look made for some beautiful shots of the dress blowing in the wind. I was also thoroughly impressed with the hairdresser because even on the most mild days veils pop out and this one did not budge!

The song Alana walked down the isle to was Oceans by Hillsong UNITED. One of my favorite songs of all times. That mixed with seeing her sweet brother walk her down the isle and… I’ll just say I must have gotten some dirt in my eyes or something. (I’m not crying, you’re crying).

There is so much I want to share about this wedding day! My last wedding blog until this fall! Here are some things worth mentioning in a list format.

Highlights of the day:

The First Look: The windswept dress along with their genuine smiles and reactions made for such emotion evoking emotions.

The Flower Boys: You had to be there (see pictures below).

The Aesthetics of Dinner: One of the options was served in a bowl made from half a fresh pineapple. All of the choices were so unique and delicious

Grand Entrances of the ENTIRE bridal party going all out: They each had a unique entrance planned ahead and it was so fun to watch them, and watch the crown laugh and cheer.

The first dance. Because it’s always my favorite! 🙂

When I congratulated the groom, he responded “I am on cloud nine right now and I’m just gonna keep riding it” with the biggest smile on his face.

The Garter Toss. Best. Ever. Still cracking up! (See photos below).

Behind the Scenes:

My amazing mom came to help me for the first half of the day- she was fluffing the dress and holding bouquets, you name it. I actually had way more mobility than I thought I would at 36.5 weeks pregnant but it was very nice to have the extra help!
